Why You Should Stop Worrying And Go To Sleep
How many times have we sat awake at night wrestling with a problem or waiting for a lightening bolt to strike us with a brilliant idea when what we need most of all is to just go to sleep?
It’s almost always better to just let it go and wake up fresh in the morning, it makes for a better day and helps to put things into better perspective. A tired mind does not work as well as a well-rested mind and any problem we may be dealing with at night or any idea we may be waiting for is rarely, if ever, urgent enough that it can’t wait until morning.
If it can’t wait until morning you can be sure that your subconscious will wake you up. The subconscious mind never sleeps, it remembers everything you’ve ever seen and everything you’ve ever heard and is our connection to the Divine. The answers we seek will come when they are needed. Often all that is needed is to take better care of ourselves, this includes letting things go and getting some sleep.
The conscious mind has a way of hanging onto and recycling things that are not very important and not necessarily ready to be dealt with. Allow God’s timing to run its course, you will not miss out on anything that is meant for you. We never know what turns our life will take, our job is to rest in the moment, everything is under control.
