A New Year’s greeting from Kamini Press in the form of a glorified card booklet, featuring one single poem by Gerald Locklin in a beautiful layout between laid cardstock and colored paper, with a full-color watercolor of two saggy-boobed torch singers by Henry Denander, the editor of Kamini Press, on the cover. The poem harks back to the days when two torch singers aided in the author’s puberty and how they shaped his definition of real women. Very endearing poem by Locklin, and Denander definitely takes time with his works, lovingly crafting each word to make this the nicest “greeting card” I’ve ever received. Limited edition of 125, signed by both Denander and Locklin, free for friends of the press.
