Band Protocol (BAND) is now available on Coinbase

Starting today, Coinbase supports Band Protocol (BAND) at Coinbase.com and in the Coinbase Android and iOS apps. Please note, we will only support ERC-20 BAND tokens at this time. Coinbase customers can now buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store BAND. BAND is available in all Coinbase-supported regions with the exception of New York State.

Band Protocol (BAND) is a cross-chain data oracle platform that aggregates and connects real-world data and APIs to smart contracts.

Coinbase regularly shares new digital assets that we’re continuing to explore. BAND was included in our most recent list along with 18 other assets. We currently also support BAND for trading on Coinbase Pro and storage with Coinbase Custody.

One of the most common requests we hear from customers is to be able to buy and sell more cryptocurrencies on Coinbase. We announced a process for listing assets, designed in part to accelerate the addition of more cryptocurrencies. We are also investing in new tools to help people understand and explore cryptocurrencies. We launched informational asset pages (see BAND here), as well as a new section of the Coinbase website to answer common questions about crypto.
