You may know Natalie Woods from her roles in West Side Story, Rebel Without a Cause, and Splendor in The Grass. The aspiring actress died at the young age of 43 by drowning, but there were circumstances surrounding the death that were strange then and have not become any clearer today.

November 1981
After Thanksgiving in 1981, Natalie and Robert began planning a trip on one of their boats to Catalina Island which is located off the coast of California. Natalie asked many of her friends to join them on the trip to Catalina Island but most of the friends declined the actress’s invite due to the weather that weekend. One friend did accept the couple’s invite, that was Christopher Walken. Mr. Walken would be joining the couple and their captain, Dennis Davern, on that weekend trip.
