The life of a North Korean is a life of poverty, propaganda, and militarism. A dictator runs the country, and the whole system of the government is thoroughly corrupt — this leads to weird stories and events occurring in the country.
North Korea has gone to great lengths to protect its image as an actual country. From fake elections to banning clothes, they truly have done it all.
1. The Poop Balloon Attack Of 2016
After the hydrogen bomb testing by North Korea, South Korea sent a bunch of propaganda balloons over the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).
In response to this, North Korea also sent a salvo of their balloons. But these not had propaganda all over them, but also contained actual human waste. The balloons were full of cigarette butts, trash, and even used toilet paper.
