Because I was born and raised in Utah, I was always interested when Utah made the national news. I was living in California during the 1970s when there were news stories about a string of young women being abducted in Utah. It was suspected to be the work of a serial killer. The name of the killer was Ted Bundy, but that was not known until years later. Bundy was one of the most notorious serial killers in history.

Ted Bundy was an American serial killer. He was a law student at the University of Utah in the 1970’s. He kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered numerous young women and girls during crime sprees in four states. He viciously assaulted them after using a ruse of being injured to get their sympathy. He would wear a sling and ask for help from unsuspecting, attractive young women. He lured them to his car where he would force them into the vehicle. Then he would drive them to another location where he would rape and murder them. He buried them in remote areas. Some of the bodies were never found. He was truly a psychopath.

Bundy was born in 1946 in Vermont, but he grew up in Washington state. He seemed to be an attractive, intelligent, and articulate young man, but he exhibited sadistic signs as a teenager. He was antisocial and into pornography. He…
