Not So Smart Phone

I pick it up a thousand times
hoping to see
your name
Scrolling through images
smiling faces with their
witty one liners
I put it down in disappointment
a thousand times a day
wishing for relief
Its not there though
where I want it to be
just on the tip of my tongue
