Being on my own

One thing that I have learned and that has changed since I have been home is depending on myself. It is me who does all of my laundry, and folds it to put it back where it needs to be. It is me who has to make sure that i am eating and drinking to stay healthy. It is me who has to make sure that my work is done to make sure I succeed at school. I have very supportive parents so they help me whenever I need help but initially I am on my own and I don’t mind it. Besides the fact that I miss my parents cooking and not having cafeteria food everyday, I enjoy being on my own. I enjoy being able to make my own choices and to make my parents proud.
