Our institutions don’t serve us. They serve themselves.

We are ill-served by our institutions.

The purpose of business and government is to serve our needs. How well are they doing? Truth be told, they don't serve us well at all. Most of them are much better at serving themselves.

Look around.

How many times have you been frustrated by how poorly you were served, by your government, your health care provider, by a customer “service” department, a call center, and so on?

To the entrepreneur, this should be seen as an opportunity. Let's stop whining and create the world we want to live in.
