Conscious Advertising starts with Conscious Advertisers, so our ambition is to help train as many marketers as possible to understand the impacts of their advertising decisions, supporting members in their journey to build a better ethical framework.

We understand that each organisation has a unique structure and its own existing approaches to some of the challenges. We aim to support you with resources that will enable you to put the 6 manifesto principles into action in a way that will best suit your company, rather than outline a prescriptive guide that is inflexible to our cross-industry membership.

Together with some of our members and collaborators we’ll be producing new resources & training materials throughout the year. We’ll be arranging cross-industry sessions, webinars, and providing resources and support for companies looking to run their own training workshops.

Session 1: An Introduction to Conscious Advertising

  • What is Conscious Advertising?
  • The Challenges of Modern Marketing
  • Advertising in a New Digital Media World
  • Why should Conscious Advertising matter to us?
  • Where do we start to make change as individuals & organisations?

The training programme provides advice relevant for those working across the industry (at an advertiser, agency, adtech company or publisher trade body) but acknowledges that change often starts from the brands themselves.

Session 1 is now available via on-demand video via our YouTube Channel.

Session 2: Evaluation & Audit

  • Reviewing the 6 manifestos with your organisation in mind
  • Workstream case study — an example to guide what’s possible!
  • Exercise: Identifying similarities, differences & challenges in your organisation
  • Identifying achievable short, mid and long-term areas for adoption
  • Getting organisational buy-in
  • Exercise: Creating a roll-out plan and measuring changes
