It’s Okay To Break Down. It’s Okay To Collapse Under The Weight of It All
Sometimes, that’s exactly what we need to do
Some phases of life can be deeply overwhelming. The stakes feel too high, the responsibilities too intense, and the circumstances too painful for us to bear.
If you’re anything like me, you try to hold everything together even when the weight feels unbearable. You tell yourself to keep going, to find a way out, to fix what feels unfixable and solve what feels unsolvable. You resist the urge to fall apart because it feels like giving up (because if you just try just a little harder, hold on a little longer, you’ll find a way through, right? Or at least, that’s what you tell yourself.)
The truth is, the harder you push against the pain, the heavier it feels. The more you resist it, the more the pressure builds, relentlessly pressing on every part of you until it feels like there’s no room to breathe, no space to think.
But what if I tell you that breaking down isn’t the end? What if collapsing under the weight of it all is exactly what you need to finally find relief, clarity, and the strength to rise again?
