Lena Dunham (of HBO’s Girls fame) conceived this short for The New Yorker, to announce the launch of their iPhone app. Jon Hamm and Alex Karpovsky joined the party in this funny bit evoking an ’80s VHS look of a talk show.
The app itself is elegant with nice attention to typography and pagination. An interesting interface goes with it (though I wish page thumbnails could be generated faster). This week’s issue of the magazine is free to celebrate the release. Pick it up and check it out for yourself, here.
