Most society seem to be varied on the idea of beauty, for some beauty entails a beautiful face and a nice, curvaceous body. For the less vain, beauty depends solely on character and has little to do with a pretty face. For them, insipidity is totally unacceptable and considered the true definition of ugliness.

some of the ‘supposed’ ingredient of beauty.

Funny enough the concept of beauty is ever changing and never remains the same, at least in the eye of society. How to keep up with this fluid demand without loosing one’s self in the process?. This demand ultimately creates a self consuming need for beauty product to enhance natural looks and cosmetic surgeries which is of a more permanent nature. Both methods of enhancement can be life-altering and all consuming until one feels bereft without them. For most people, in order to garner love and acceptance from the society they get tangled in the roller coaster of beautification for all the wrong reasons. Very few people realize that perfection is naught but a fleeting dream and the demand for beauty is a never ending tidal war. Also, a wise man once said ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. The most important thing is to be comfortable in one’s skin and realize that there is no such thing as perfection. Am quite sure perfect would be boring and, we would loose the uniqueness that makes us find other people fascinating and alluring.
