In December 2017, a cloudy day came over the Doner industry, when the European union committee discussed legislation to ban the phosphate additive which is widely used for meat in the Doner business as a preservative.

The reason for the ban was due to the health risk linked to Phosphate. But the legislation was rejected after being opposed by 32 against 22 votes. It’s not surprising for a multi-billion industry that is on-demand all the time anywhere in the world which makes a huge revenue to many countries.

Doner — also called Shawarma — isn’t just a business, but a story of success that deserves to be told. There’s a warm relationship between Shawarma and its eater, which starts by seeing the shaved grilled chicken pieces falling on the Pitta bread, covered by special garlic sauce, pickles, then roasted enough with olive oil to hear the “Crunch” sound in your mouth.

Not just that, but the connection between emotional intelligence and this sandwich solved broken relationships, Strengthened family connections, calmed a stormed tension between employees, chewing the first bite sketches…
