Learn how to cook up your favorite takeout item. It’s easier than you think.

Learning how to make pizza is an art form in Italy. People get educated on every detail of the process down to throwing the dough in the air, as you see on TV. In Naples, where pizza was invented, becoming a pizzaiolo is a professional gig, not to mention an honor. They take their pizza really seriously in the Boot.

Whether in Italy or the United States, you can easily call up your favorite joint and get a pie on the fly. The impression is that pizza is hard to make, and you can always buy it, so people are intimidated by trying to make it themselves. But it’s easier than you think to make it, and it’s a fun activity, especially for families. You can get kids in on the act. C’mon, give it a try. It could be satisfying and delicious.
