It is one of the best evening snacks I would prefer if you are in your weight loss sessions and want to go for something healthy.

It is a steamed snack that is made with gram flour and some amazing spices. To be factual, dhokla and khaman dhokla are traditionally different from each other. Dhokla is made from fermented rice and lentil batter while khaman dhokla is made from gram flour. Both of them are steam cooked but due to the inclusion of rice in dhokla, it looked pale and lighter in color.

This dish is very popular in many regions of India and is pretty much served in cafes, sweet shops, and street stalls. You can make it at home easily. On my way home from the office, I get a sweet shop which is very famous for its dhoklas. People from the whole locality come to his shop for the way he cooks this dish.

There was an amazing essence in the dhoklas I bought from his shop. I tried to bring the same, but I felt something missing in my first attempt. It may be due to a lack of some spices, but I will try to convey the steps properly.
