Turkish Breakfast in a Sandwich!
Who didn’t like Turkish breakfast on their visit to Turkey; wasn’t that the best part of the vacation.
I am personally a breakfast person. When I came back home, I tried to recreate it in a different way. Turkish breakfast is a perfectly balanced meal with the required nutrients.
Ingredients:
1 Oregano whole wheat bun
Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Ice Berg
1 Boiled Egg (cut into slices)
3 to 4 Pepperoni slices or Mortadella
1 low-fat cheese slice
1 shredded boiled chicken fillet
Salt to taste
Pepper as per requirement
Method:
Take the oregano whole wheat bun, warm it on a pan.
Now keep it on a plate and assemble it. Put cheese, iceberg, pepperoni slices, or Mortadella slices, place the egg slices, tomatoes, cucumbers, and the shredded chicken cover it with the other bun! If you like, you can heat the loaded sandwich on a nonstick pan or keep it in the oven for 3 mins. These steps depend on your preference for a sandwich.
Voila!! Ready to be served as a breakfast.
It is easy. the taste will definitely remind you of the breakfast that you had in Turkey.
This can be a good and healthy breakfast in the mornings when you are running late. Remember to never miss your breakfast!!
