Life Goes On

Every story is a journey that will end one day, just not today

Covid-19 has changed the world in many ways. We have seen positive impacts as well as negative ones. It has been a great reminder of what differentiates us from other animals that have now become extinct. We adapt.

No matter what life throws at us, we do our best to change our behavior and align with the “new normal”, allowing us to maintain our chance of survival. Note, I say “maintain” rather than increase since we are essentially plateauing our lives here.

Someone reminded me today again, that life is short and we are all going to die. My immediate arrogant thought to myself was “Tell me something I don’t know already”. But thinking about it again, I appreciate it when people mention this. It’s a good reminder that we should be more present in life. Of course being present does not have to ruin your chances for a good future. But it is more about doing meaningful things with your life, then becoming entangled in the cooperate world.

DO NOT LOSE YOUR INDIVIDUALITY!!!

It is so easy to get carried away when trying to build a good life for your family and yourself. But if you focus too much on the earing then you will soon stop appreciating the people you are earning for. And one day it will all just seem like a chore.

So take out some time for yourself on a regular basis to spend it with your family and friends. And anyone else you love and want to dedicate some time to. Because your life is not your job or the money it makes. It is the reason you are working for.

And as harsh as this may sound, sometimes you will have to make a difficult decision if your job is not letting you live enough.

Keeping things to yourself? I wonder how long it will take for things to get too much. Express yourself!
