Today is the day
when the new sun rose
bringing justice to not one
but the entire nation

Today is the day
when the wait was done
the mother of that daughter
saw the light of hope

Today is the day
when the beasts were hanged
justice was delayed
but not denied

Today is the day
it will be remembered by all
Women are humans
and not a log
