A conversation between a mother and her daughter.

I do not want to roll rotis
said the Little girl

What else will you do?
Women since generations
have been taking care of the kitchen
A legacy, you must carry on

I am not convinced, I will not make Rotis

I am a girl —is a reality
No man shall ever be the master of my destiny
I am the one who will make my own identity
Setting the mark for women’s success story

Even if you do not want, this is your fate
No man will accept you, its better to be sooner than late
You will be made to understand your worth
My baby! accept the reality of your birth

Still not convinced, I won’t make rotis

You did it for long, without speaking a word
Stop punishing yourself, you will never be heard
Crying and wiping my eyelid
I will not follow a man blindly as you did
