A Poem

With the beginning of winter,
The world is filled with stillness,
But your harmonious and sweet melodies,
Awaken me in the quiet hours of dawn,
The way you perch on my hand and sing,
My soul silently absorbs the mellifluous music,
Waking up with my budgies,
Has become my pattern,
Every morning their sweet melodies,
Make my heart sing to their music.
