A short song

Praise be to God, Lord of everyone
Glory be to Him, Most High, the Great
None but He helps, none but He knows

Witness to all things for all of us
He is Omniscient, Just and Wise

Where would I be without You, my God?
I don’t want to even think of it!

Peace dear all, I am Lisa Spray. I live in the desert southwest of the United States. But my husband Rafe and I love to travel, so we are often elsewhere. I think our souls are part Gypsy.

God is critical to us both, but we come from very different faith backgrounds… and we find the mix to be a wonderful blessing. As for me, I started out in a totally interfaith family, as this story will share:

Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed it. Please feel free to respond if you would like. You will also find more of my poems, as well as those by others, in our publication The Heart of Quran. We love interfaith, in-faith and no-faith dialog so please do join us there where all pieces are free to all readers.
