I’ve lived much longer than I will

I am the stories I tell
The memories I have
The dreams I made poems
I’ve lived much longer than I will
But why so much life that I will forget?
I have a soul that is eternal
The pain of living no longer dismays me
Losses, heart pains
Around here they will stay
Will also stay
A complaining rose
For having lost the beauty
But not the delicacy
Until the last moment
To show off in its nobility
So that poets never lose
Their inspiration.
