As she walks with
a smitch of red ink worn on her forehead
which is the color worn by the sun at dusk & dawn
since her wedding
is the desire she carries to tell the world
she cannot be
suppressed from shining bright, live to make her dreams reality
and claiming what is hers righteously!
as she sets foot in a new phase of life
into — “WOMANHOOD”!

Author’s Note: The red/ vermilion called the “Sindoor” is a very ancient Indian tradition to be worn by married women. The color on their forehead symbolizes the feminine energy and stands for passion, prosperity, and fertility which is believed she carries with her.
