I wish I could write love poems,
I wish I could write happiness,
I wish I could see past my open wounds,

But there is so much dirt inside,
I need to shove out.

One day, I will love you better
One day, I want to try better

I hope that day comes,
I hope God will wait for me
and give me enough time

To love you
To mercy you
To wait for you.

Thoughts that keep me awake at daytime, wondering, pondering, invading the time I should be using otherwise.
