5 Best Sunset Views in Singapore

Watching the sunset in Singapore is one of the many things I enjoyed the most when I visited the smallest country in Southeast Asia.

You know it’s going to be one of the most spectacular and wonderful moments of the day when the sun sinks into the sea. You see a faint blue line across the horizon. The flurry of colours, filled with shades of orange, red, yellow, and violet, making a sunset even more stunning.

The sunset has a mystical element to it that makes it spectacular. The beauty painted across the sky as the sun sets below the horizon is a beautiful sight and well worth capturing on camera.

According to Wikipedia, “Sunset, also known as sundown, is the daily disappearance of the sun below the horizon due to earth’s rotation. The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment when the upper limb of the sun disappears below the horizon. Near the horizon, atmospheric refraction causes sunlight rays to be distorted to such an extent that geometrically the solar disk is already about one diameter below the horizon when a sunset is observed.”

The sunset symbolizes the end of a day’s work as well as the passing of time. As the sun sets, it’s time to call it a day and relax. The awe-inspiring beauty of the setting sun is a metaphor for the awe-inspiring beauty and mystery of existence itself.

In addition, the study shows that sunset has a positive psychological effect and physical benefits. It’s also proven to relieve stress and have a natural healing effect. Nature is a natural source of energy for the soul.

You can watch the sunset anywhere, but an exceptional sunset view actually requires a bit of extra effort.
