Algowork Exit Scenario: IPO

Algowork started to pull away from its competition by being the first US company to partner with international education programs together to expose college students on real world projects and experiences. These programs would place high and low income students in high growth incubators that gave students real world experience and for the companies a new standard of hiring young talent. Algowork smashed the taditional methods of internships and became the compass of career trajectory for students worldwide. In it’s 3rd year, Algowork had over 800,000 students, 200,000 mentors and 50 companies in 5 countries including the US. LinkedIn offered to acquire Algowork for 850 million, which the founders denied. Based on the growth and interests of acquisition, the founders decided to push on and Algowork went IPO on June 19th 2020.
