Demo Videos, Continued Acquisition, Pitching

Here are our presentation slides in the Creative Founder class, which involved our Demo Videos, Continued Acquisition with a little shift of the previous concept: a Smart Wristband that senses athletes’ mental stress through a set of physiological signals, and helps them regulate stress by talking about their feelings.

What was it like to work on your proto-pitch?

This week is a juicy week :) With well project management, we went to UC Berkeley to do our video shooting. Thanks to Rachel, our copy write was clear and organized. And our actors Richie and Vicky were very involved in the story. As the cinematographer, I was happy to frame the scene and do the editing part. Thanks to everyone’s effort, we finally had a polished video demo.

What was it like to continue acquisition? What are you learning over time?

We kept updating our landing page based on our new MVP. It was good to see the increasing number of pageviews, happy first visit and the percentage of “Learn More” and “Subscribe” button clicks. This gave us more confidence that our concept was attractive and valuable.

What was it like to launch and get feedback on a demo video for your product?

Video is a good format to tell our product story with a vivid scenario. We interviewed professor Bryan, who worked for Fitbit as an engineer. And we learned a lot about the technology and hardware feasibility of our product. This was really helpful for our next step.

What are you excited about in pitching?

At this stage, I think we are on a good track and hope our final product could be realistic and well-polished in our pitch day :)
