Final push

Things always take more time to put together than expected. This past week, we followed a similar process for the mid-term pitch: layout slide by slide what we will cover, assign responsibilities, be responsible. Perhaps it is because we are in finals, perhaps it is because we think we are in good shape, the practice pitch did not feel as smooth and compelling as the mid-term pitch. The lack of coherence in our story was obvious even during the weekend, and yet I wasn’t entirely sure how to fix it.

It has been 14 weeks and it is still hard to understand whether I am hustling or micro-managing.

This weekend we as a team of four will spend time going through the presentation flow as well as practice pitching in front of friends. It is often clear that every team member has a different level of understanding toward our project, many times this obstacle surface as a main weakness of ours. Over group meetings, I will ensure that we will try our best to align each of our own mental models of the problems and solutions we’ve identified.
