Reflection post about week [Proto-pitches and general progress]

What was it like to put everything you’ve done together?

Putting everything together is a good review process since we went through lots of steps. An overview of what we did help us think about what was brought out most in the conversations with participants. It helps us move faster and boarder our thoughts when we think about BMC.

What areas of your business still need work?

Our MVP ideas and value proposition still need work. In last week’s experiment, we got lots of insightful feedbacks. We also need to think about the product as a whole instead of separating the features. Thinking about how to achieve the quickness and providing value to our target users in a full vision of our MVP idea is very important. Also, the value proposition needs to show the product value in more perspectives instead of describing a single feature.

How did your idea for your business change? Why?

Our business focuses on quickness and personalized. During the discussion about the BMC last week, we also think about a larger range of users, such as tourists who do not know much about a good place to eat during traveling and having a premium service that will provide coupon kits and reservation service for users.

What’s your role on the team?

My role on the team is CEO.

What does your funnel look like? What are you planning for your acquisition experiment?

We are still working on the funnel. For the acquisition experiment, we have two landing pages. One is for target users, which we will provide free and quick arranging service. Another is targeting restaurants, which we will offer the in-app advertisement service. In the acquisition, we decided to experiment through multiple channels. We will put the landing page on the social media group and create a poster with a QR code of landing page. For the restaurant, we decided to send out emails to 20–30 restaurants with our landing page.

We are looking forward to the acquisition experiments!
