Weekly Reflection on Screen usage(11.7)

Some thoughts from last week:

Burn rate:

I personally felt bad when I was calculating my burn rate because it is like telling me that how much my parents is paying me doing that. But it really helps me to visualize that overall of my burn rate yearly.

Beside that, I do think it is very nessaccay to calculate it even after this project. It can be a way to remind myself that I should do something to equal that much money.

intercepting interview:

After doing intercepting interview, I felt like it is actually easy and fast way to test if our solution work or not. At some point, I found it is actually very hard to note down the content in some event area because the conversion environment is very noisey.

After validating with those parent, the feedback is actually not very positive or active for me. I am questioning is it because we did not find the right audience? The wrong group will generates wrong result when they are using our products. At the same time I realized the weakness about doing intersecting interview is hard to find our target audience. I kind of don’ t want to intersecting interview because it is kind of wasting our time if we are testing the wrong group.

For the reason of doing the intersecting interview, I think it is like validating if the product is understandable for audience. In other word, do they know how to use the product. Once we got the result, we should target the intersecting interview.

By the way, I actually really appreciated that Kara and Ruitao was setting up the table already before I come. Especially Ruitao, she did very good job on finding interviewee. I was kind of humble when I was trying to grab people to our table.
