Yes I Stole That
I didn’t actually steal anything… except for a BMC or two.
As it turns out, most companies have published BMCs, and I was researching Munchery, which is a pretty cool company.. and anyway, they have a BMC created by Juggernaut (who has one for literally every company out there)
but their version SUCKED! (mostly) so I added three times more content and moved some stuff around to the CORRECT box.
Then our group met on Saturday.. because we are awesome.. and we hashed out every issue on planet earth; backwards and forwards. So we now have half of an idea that we are going in the right direction.
So how am I feeling?
just kidding.. I know you don’t actually care.
What did I learn though?
I’m so glad you asked… really glad…
We have two customers: people who pay money(student-like peeps who want to learn) who also want to impress others with a personal chef, and chefs who want to make money, get recognition, and form their own hours.
Ok, so in order to get students, we need chefs, and in order to get chefs we need students… or, we can fake both so we can gain both at the same time. Is that ethical? I have no idea whatsoever. But, we can get pledges to use chefs that join/join as chefs in order to cook for arriving students. Why are we calling these people students??? They are learning how to cook, but they are taking one lesson at a time.. There’s got to be another name... Whatever.
Crap, how do we get ingredients to the final destination? There’s two ways to do this. We can pull the orders as they come in advance and buy all of our food at once, then the chefs can get it from us which eliminates the chefs having to go buy food on their own time.. not to mention, if the chefs have to pay for groceries, then they have to get the money back somehow, and that would suck to figure into the student’s costs. The other way is for the chefs to deal with the ingredients, which they might be more comfortable with because they know what tastes good/bad plus they might be picky, but we can’t guarantee to our students that the ingredients are fresh, or even healthy for them, and it would suck to create some sort of doubt in our customers because our other customers are in charge of their food.
It’s an impossible decision without talking to people, so we are going to go do that. We have concluded though that our students will not be providing any of the food.. nobody wanted that.
Get some sleep people.. eat, pray, love.. do awesome things.. goodnight.
