A Sign of True Believers, Falling Into Prostration
Exploring Surah As-Sajdah — The Prostration, ayat 10–15
In my previous Quran Study story, I shared how the last two ayat of Surah Al-Baqarah have become a comforting part of my nightly routine.
Now, I’m turning my attention to Surah Sajdah, another chapter recommended for bedtime reading. There is a narration from Jabir ibn Abdullah (ra) that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) would not go to sleep until he had recited Surah Sajdah and Surah Mulk.
I’m hoping that the wisdom and tranquillity within its verses will further enhance my sleep quality and spiritual connection.
This is a longer surah, and to give its due to every ayah, I will focus on this story only on ayat 10–15, which include the ayah from where the name of the surah comes from.
