Islam started with the word Iqra — Read.

The first thing we were asked to do as Muslims is to read.

And in the same revelation where we were asked to read, we were told that God taught us to write.

It is a blessing and an honour reserved only for humans that I’m able to write these words now, and you are able to read them. SubhanAllah.

Inspired by this, I have started a journey and series of Quran Studies where I read and try to reflect on the meaning of a few ayahs (verses) of the book of God.

I am documenting here my journey of studying the Quran, first and foremost for myself. And then for anyone who would like to read about the Quran from the perspective of a fresh reader, who holds no qualifications or titles to explain it to anyone. But just loves the book of the truth and wants to get closer to Allah through understanding it better.
