The Fortress of the Muslim is a timeless treasure from our beloved Messenger ﷺ that offers supplications for every aspect of our lives.

Like most Muslims, I’ve had this book for a long time and have memorized and use several of the supplications in my daily life.

Now, my goal is to go beyond what I already know and embark on a new journey: to systematically learn, memorize, and, most importantly, integrate more of the Prophet’s ﷺ sunnahs into my habits.

I am documenting my journey in these stories as a normal Muslim, with no titles or qualifications to explain the Sunnah to anyone. But just loves the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ and through them wants to get closer to Allah.

We begin in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Chapter 2: When Wearing a Garment

The Supplication

The Prophet ﷺ taught us to say:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ كَسَانِيْ هٰذَا الثَّوْبَ ، وَرَزَقَنِيْهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِّنِّيْ وَلَا قُوَّةٍ. (1x)
