Exploring Surah Al-Qadr — The Power, Ayat 1–5
Ramadan is here, Alhamdulillah.
A blessed month mentioned several times in the Quran, but there’s one particular surah which is the highlight of this month, Al-Qadr — The Power.
This surah, with its imagery and message, has always captivated me. It speaks of Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power, a night in Ramadan described as “better than a thousand months.”
It’s a night of immense spiritual significance, and I’m blessed to study this surah as I start my Ramadan.
I am documenting my journey of studying the Quran in a series of stories.
First and foremost for myself, and then for anyone who would like to read about the Quran from the perspective of a fresh reader, who holds no qualifications or titles to explain it to anyone. But just loves the book of the truth and wants to get closer to Allah through understanding it better.
