The Most Important Dua Allah Has Answered Me
Why Allah Answers Slowly and Subtly
When we think about the duas that Allah answers, we usually focus on the very obvious and visible ones.
The job, the spouse, the house, the health, etc. We pray for something, and we know exactly the moment it is fulfilled.
But there are some other duas that He answers which we don’t notice for a long time that He did. Because their impact isn’t one big thing but a lot of small incremental improvements that eventually transform us.
Recently I had a realisation of one such dua having been answered for a few years, and it shook my whole world.
I was at the end of my Maghrib prayer. I was a little on a rush and thought of closing it before making the Sunnah duas. But I argue with myself: Let me say just the short one at least, I never skip that one.
اَللّٰهُمَّأَعِنِّيْعَلَىٰذِكْرِكَ،وَشُكْرِكَ،وَحُسْنِعِبَادَتِكَ.
O Allah, help me to remember You, be grateful to You and worship You in an excellent manner.
As I say it slowly, trying not to rush it, a sudden realisation makes me break into heavy tears.
