Sharon Marie Tate was born on January 24, 1943, in Dallas Taxes. She was brutally murdered in August 1969 by Charles Manson’s Cult. She was eight and a half months pregnant when she was savagely stabbed to death in her Los Angeles home. This is one of America's most iconic murders.

2019 marked the 50th anniversary of the famous Manson murders. Sharon grew up in Dallas in the 1940s. Her dad, Paul, was a Colonel in the military, so the family moved around a lot. She was the oldest of three sisters. Sharon was stunningly beautiful but very shy. She was the homecoming queen of her high school, and she had big dreams.

She modeled and wanted to be an actress. So she moved to Hollywood. She arrived in California in her early twenties and was desperate to get TV and movie roles. She took minor roles in Mister Ed, The Beverly Hillbillies, The wrecking crew. She’d worked with Tony Curtis, Dean Martin, Susan Hayward, But her most famous role was portraying Jenifer North in the movie Valley of the Dolls. In 2019 Margot Robbie portrayed Sharon in Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.
