The Beatles are one of the greatest bands in history — there is just no debating that fact. The band changed music in so many ways and ultimately changed history. I do not believe that there is a single person on this planet that hasn’t listened to a song from the band that captivated the world in the 1960s and beyond.

The Beatles formed in 1960 in Liverpool, England. The key members of the band included Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Star, and George Harrison. During the first two years in existence, The Beatles grew to massive popularity in their hometown — playing at bars and other venues. However, with the release of their first hit song Love Me Do in 1962, everything changed and admiration from all over began to pour in.

By the year 1964, the fame had spread overseas to the United States. People from all over the world absolutely loved the four-some and the amazing music they created. In the seven years that The Beatles released music, they produced a total of 13 albums.
