Driving is one of the most dangerous things that we, as humans, do on a daily basis. Every single year about 42,000 people die from automobile accidents in the United States alone. Many of us simply drive out onto the road, not fully knowing the risks

This story is the story of one of those fatalities. However, this is not just your average fatal car accident. This case was caused by someone that you know quite well.

In May 2000, when George W. Bush was running for President of the United States, the police from Midland, Texas released a two-page report detailing how a woman named Laura Welsh had caused a fatal car accident.

At first, no one paid any attention to the report. But, when they found out who Laura Walsh really was, heads began to spin and people got angry.

The Accident

As previously mentioned, in the year 2000, a stunning police report out of Midland, Texas revealed that a teenage girl named Laura Welsh killed another teenager in a horrific car accident.

The report stated that Welsh was on her way to a local drive-in movie theater for a simple, relaxing night out shortly after 8:00 pm on November 6, 1963. While…
