The date was May 11, 1983, and Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka was walking into his hotel room after a long night of wrestling practice.

A young, pretty woman was laying on his bed. It was not odd for Snuka, a married man, to have his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, with him while he was on the road. Argentino, 23, was his side thing. She loved him, but he could not say the same about her.

Upon walking into the disgusting hotel room, something was very wrong. Argentino was clinging to life. She was gasping for air and a yellow liquid was coming out of her mouth. Immediately, Snuka dialed 911 and waited for help to arrive.

When paramedics arrive on the scene, they rushed Argentino to Lehigh Valley Hospital. At the awful time of 3 am in the morning, Snuka called Nancy’s mother.

“Dead?” a woman screamed on the other end of the line.

The Stunning Autopsy

To this day, nearly four decades later, the death of Nancy Argentino remains unsolved.
