The cross-country trip became suspicious when he returned home, but she didn’t.

22 year old, Gabby Petitio was reported missing as of Saturday on Sept. 11 by her family. She disappeared while traveling in a van across the country with her fiance in late August.

Her partner, Brian Laundrie who has since lawyered up and continues to evade cops, refuses to cooperate after making it home safe in Florida to be found at his parent's house with the vehicle they were traveling in, a white 2012 Ford Transit van, filed under Gabby’s name is now under preservation for any leads of evidence.

While the last whereabouts of the pair were known to be in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park late of august, documentation of the couple can be seen through social media showing their whereabouts and seemingly happy adventures.

A Youtube series, “Nomadic Static” revealing their journey.

According to their social media the couple had spent weeks out west, travelling to national parks in Utah and Colorado.

The timeline goes along as this-

On July 2nd, the couple set out for their journey from Bluepoint, NY. July 5th they stopped at Kansas monument rocks, July 8th they were in Colorado Springs. July 10th at Grand Sand Dunes national park, July 16th Zion National Park. On July 20th they were at Cedar Banks and on the 21st at Bryce Canyon National Park. July 26th they were at the Mystic Hot Springs, July 30th the Canyonlands. August 12th at Arches national park. As logged by the pair across their social media platforms, from this point on there are no pictures of the two of them together.

As of August 13th Brian had since posted two solo Instagram pictures. A picture of them seen together read cryptic captions including Gabby, “thanks for putting up with me.” Over on Gabby’s Instagram, the last picture she posted also happens to be of the last day she was heard from.

Petito’s mother, they were in contact throughout the entirety of the trip that had started in July. “I believe she’s in danger because she’s not in touch with me.” Five days after Gabby went missing a text was received from “gabby”, no confirmation it was her and with no other form of communication after that. The last text from Gabby’s phone on august 30th saying, “No sense in Yosemite” that was supposed to be their next stop.

An alleged family statement, “Brian is refusing to explain why he left Gabby all alone and drove her van to Florida. These are critical questions that require immediate answers.” A statement was sent out on Brian’s behalf, “it is in our hope of the Laundrie family that the search for miss Petito is successful and that miss Petito is reunited with her family. The Laundrie family will be remaining in the background at this juncture and with no further statements.”

“How does Brian stay in the background when he is the one person that knows where Gabrielle is located?”

“We have not talked with him, we would love to talk to him. He is under no obligation to talk to us — and he has not. And we don’t even know yet if a crime happened,” North Port police spokesman Josh Taylor told the outlet.

Furthermore, just two weeks before she was last seen, Fox news headlines state that Utah police have confirmed that officers were called for an incident involving Brian Laundrie and Gabrielle Petito on August 12th. Moab Chief of Police Bret Edge told Fox News Tuesday. “Officers conducted an investigation and determined that insufficient evidence existed to justify criminal charges.”

This event is still currently unfolding, lots of information redacted. As of September 22nd, the confirmed body of Gabby Petito was identified in Wyoming. Her death is initially ruled a homicide.

The North Port police department said these circumstances aren’t normal.
