Mary Schlais was an accomplished young woman at 25-years-old. She was working on her Master’s Degree at the University of Minnesota. Mary was able to speak several languages and was in the progress of learning another language. Mary had a love of horses and art. It was Mary’s love of art that prompted her to leave her home…
