A Mother Who Sold Her 5-Year-Old Daughter as a Sex Slave Was Found Dead on the Side of The Road

On November 10, 2009, it was reported that Shaniya Davis, age 5, had gone missing in North Carolina. A guy who was characterized as being her mother’s boyfriend became a suspect in the case. However, he was released, and police sought another man seen on security footage of the hotel carrying the youngster. At the time, the authorities were holding out hope that Shaniya was still alive, but they feared the worst.
