Submission guidelines for The Criminalist + how to submit

The Criminalist is a new true-crime publication that focuses on solved or unsolved crimes of any nature. The main focus is to write detailed stories with well-researched evidence that can provide readers with enough information to make conclusions.

Any crime story is welcome from murder (unsolved/solved), drug-related cases, social media involvement in solving cases, cybercrime, etc…

The following are basic guidelines to follow before your submission.

• Articles with no research or references will not be accepted. Similarly, no plagiarism of any kind will be accepted. The editor will review sources and deem them credible or not.
• Use tags such as “Crime”, “True Crime”, plus any others that are applicable to your story
• No opinions — focus on the facts and evidence that has been provided by professional
• Proofreading is essential.
• All stories will be accepted as long as they are on theme and grammatically correct
• Follow the Title → Subtitle → Image format
• Use the search tool to see if an article on a specific case has already been covered within the publication before submitting yours.
• Only submit drafts
