LOTTERY

The first utility of the $HONEY token is the lottery, or more precisely, the lotteries.

We totally re-thought the system with the roadmap 2.0. Indeed, we thought about a way to enhance the ecosystem with this as well as giving fun to our members and to give them the possibility to win some $HONEY tokens.

LOTTERIES

It is a game where you gamble your $HONEY generated through the staking of Crobees or bought in the market (after the launch of the token). Tickets are buyable in the Beeshop (our marketplace for Crobees products in our website www.crobees.com).

The lotteries are a pool of $HONEY created by people participating in the process and redistributed to the winners.

We decided to do 3 types of lotteries with different timeframes:

• Daily lottery: Draw each days
• Weekly lottery: Draw each weeks
• Monthly lottery: Draw each months

The goal is to allow holders to participate in different timelines and duration but also to have several rewards for each lotteries that you will see below.

Of course, the system is created a way that each ticket is a participation to the lottery so if you buy 2 tickets you have twice the chance to win.

HOW IT WORKS ?

The lotteries are divided in 3 level of rewards, so each lottery has a different return for the players. Accordingly to that, the price of the ticket differs from one to another. Let us give you the details below.

Daily Lottery

• Price: 2 $HONEY / ticket
• Number of winners: 1
• Percentage return from the game: 87%
• Prizes:
  1st = 87% of the pool
• Burn: 9% of the $HONEY committed
• Fees: 4% of the $HONEY committed

Weekly Lottery

• Price: 5 $HONEY / ticket
• Number of winners: 3
• Percentage return from the game: 90%
• Prizes:
  1st = 60% of the pool
  2nd = 20% of the pool
  3rd = 10% of the pool
• Burn: 7% of the $HONEY committed
• Fees: 3% of the $HONEY committed

Monthly Lottery

• Price: 10 $HONEY / ticket
• Number of winners: 10
• Percentage return from the game: 93%
• Prizes:
  1st = 40% of the pool
  2nd = 22% of the pool
  3rd = 10% of the pool
  4th to 10th = 3% of the pool
• Burn: 5% of the $HONEY committed
• Fees: 2% of the $HONEY committed

Example

John wants to participate to the Monthly and Daily lottery, he needs to have 12 $HONEY to do it (1 ticket for each). The pools are composed of 10 000 $HONEY for the monthly lottery and 200 $HONEY for the daily lottery.

If John has a winning tickets for the daily lottery, he will win 174 $HONEY for a ticket worth 2 $HONEY.

If John has a 7th tickets for the monthly lottery, he will win 300 $HONEY for a ticket worth 10 $HONEY.

BURN & FEES

As always with Crobees, transparency is the key. We wanted to use the lotteries to begin the stabilization of the ecosystem. As you may understand now, we are creating an entire ecosystem and each part has been extensively analyzed and thought.
This burning process in the lotteries will permit to begin to burn some $HONEY tokens even before it is tradable and to stabilize not only the ecosystem but also the potential selling pressure at the launch.

The fees are a little part of each pools that are dedicated for the team and the following of the project. This will help to finance the development of the next part of the roadmap (Beedrop, Beevolution and more…).

Vesting period for the team

To keep the ecosystem as stable as possible, we decided to add a vesting to the team’s fees.. Indeed, the fees will be locked for us so you, investors, have the security that we will don’t impact the price in the short run. As the lotteries are in different timeframes, we are going to adapt the vesting for each lottery:

• Monthly Lottery: Vesting 60 days
• Weekly Lottery: Vesting 30 days
• Daily Lottery: Vesting 14 days

Fyi: We will permit to holders to buy some Bees with their $HONEY token, so holders with less bees will be able to participate to the lotteries to have more $HONEY and buy more bees.

Coming soon: A medium about the Beeshop and the Bees buyable in $HONEY will be release soon, same as the lottery with all the explanations, details and some examples.
