Want to get out of the house this fall and enjoy the cool weather? Here are some fun events to bring family and friends to. Don’t forget your mask!

Drive-Through Trail of Lights

When? November 28th-January 3rd

Where? Zilker Park


The 56th annual Trail of Lights will be a drive-through event this year to be cautious of COVID-19, but it is still as beautiful as ever and definitely worth the trip! Go reserve a ticket online. General admission is $40 from 7pm-9pm, and a dash pass to get ahead of the lines is $65.

Austin Cedar Park Music and Arts Festival

When? 11am-9pm November 20th and 21st

Where? 1901 Sun Chase Boulevard, Austin‑ Cedar Park, TX 78613

A kid-friendly festival! Admission is $15 at the gate, 12 and under is free. Lots of activities such as a car and motorcycle show, different national recording artist will be performing throughout the afternoon. Kid friendly booths such as a photo booth, a face painting and a lot more.


When? Anytime in November.

Where? A friend’s house or even outside at a park.

Get together with some friends and have a fall feast. You can buy food or even make your own homemade dishes and just enjoy spending quality time together.

When? Whenever you want!

Where? Zilker park, Ladybird Lake and Mount Bonnell are some great outdoor areas in Austin.

It is no longer a desert outside anymore. The fall has brought along a nice chill, so if you feel like you need a breather or just time away from everything, go take a walk around the park or even have a picnic. Just enjoy the cool weather, whether it be by yourself or with friends and family!


When? December 3rd @ 5pm-8pm and December 4th @ 12pm-10pm with a night parade at 6:30pm, and December 5th @ 12pm-6pm with a “Reindog” parade @ 2pm

Where? Buda Amphitheater and City Park

Buda’s holiday festival has parades, fireworks, live music, a carnival, craft vendors, food vendors and more, so definitely go check it out if that is something you enjoy.

Mama Mary’s Farm

When? September 25th-October 31st Wednesday-Sunday

Where? 5701 Williamson Rd Creedmoor, TX 78610


Tickets are $5 on weekdays and $10 on the weekend, kids two and under get in free, and you have to buy them online. Enjoy the day at a pumpkin patch with lots of fun activities to do such as play with the farm animals, take great family photos, enjoy the tractor train ride and so much more.
