but I’m planning to be dead by then.
There’s plenty of time to plan,
and death is the most important moment
of our lives. Mine will be
in exactly sixty years.
I’ll sit beneath a willow tree,
covered in bird seed; I’ll waste away
as the birds feed. I’ll die
beneath the softness of feathers,
jade green leaves dancing overhead.
And nobody will know how to find me —
I’ll leave my phone at home.
