The first ten minutes of Baby Driver grabbed my attention like few movies ever have. Baby (Ansel Elgort, best known for The Fault in Our Stars) is the main character, a getaway driver, who always is listening to music, and he is incredible. In the first driving scene Baby does some things that are simply jaw-dropping, and it is impossible to look away.

A star-studded cast with big names such as Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, and Elsort, paid off, bringing fantastic acting to every scene. Spacey plays a criminal mastermind, who is basically controlling the whole operation like puppets. Foxx plays a badass criminal who gives no shits at all about who lives and who dies. I couldn’t imagine better casting for the major characters in the story.
This movie is absolutely packed with action from beginning to end, so if that is your fix you will not be disappointed. Some of the action is a bit over the top, but not so much that it ruins the reality of the movie. In a world where Science Fiction is reaching the largest audience, Baby Driver brings viewers an action-packed story that could actually happen.
Well, this is kind of a stretch:
There was no shortage of comedy either. Baby has great humor, with his short responses and laid back attitude. The way he interacts with his foster parent will not only make you laugh but will probably strike a soft spot. Even the way Baby walks around town is good for a laugh or two.
Baby Driver truly captured my attention from the first scene to the last. It was one of those movies that ends and you just look around in shock because you forgot you were even in a movie theater. Most of all, when I walked out of the theater and got in my car, I just wanted to go fast.
