Coding Challenge for Ukraine | Kick Off Meeting
On 17th of June 2022, the Coding Challenge for Ukraine started with the Kick Off Meeting. The Event marked the beginning of the competition, welcomed all participants, as well as presented the process and strategic objectives.

The Kick Off Meeting started with a welcome speech by Mrs Maria Staszkiewicz, European Digital Finance Association, who pointed out the importance of the competition.
Mr. Mattias Levin, Deputy Head of Unit for Digital Finance, European Commission, Mr Pavlo Bortnikov, Project portfolio manager and project manager of Platform eDopomoga of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, Mr Arsen Makarchuk, Director of the NBU Department of Strategy and Development,and Mrs Alyona Shevtsova, owner of IBox Bank, CEO of international payment system Leo, pointed out the Importance of Crowdsourcing Ideas for Ukraine.
Mr Rostyslav Dyuk, Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovative Companies, analyzed the problems that needed immediate solutions.
Mr. Theo Kotzastavros, Open Innovation Lead at Crowdpolicy, briefly presented the processes and challenges of the Hackathon, giving a better overview of how it will work.
Awards Ceremony | 29th of June at 17:00 CET
On June 29, winners will be announced during a hybrid closing event in Brussels (Sparks, 60 rue Ravenstein).
